How it works, Rules and Conditions

Welcome to London International Guitar Competition 2012

London International Guitar Competition is a new classical guitar competition open to all guitarists up to the age of 30 at the time of registration.

We are pleased to announce our six semi-finalists! Watch their first round videos below

The Semi-Final will be held on 9th March 2012 and the Final is on 10th March 2012 at the world renowned Kings Place, London. The Semi-Finalists will be invited to London to perform for our Jury who will select the three finalists.

The mission of London International Guitar Competition is to encourage excellence in the performance of the classical guitar, with a special accent on new music for guitar. The Semi-Finalists and Finalists will play a new piece specially commissioned by the International Guitar Competition for London International Guitar Competition, this year the piece is by composer Stephen Goss.
